Hi, My Name is Alicia Day. I have been scrapbooking for over seven years now.
I was first brought to a crop with a friend and I originally did not want to go because I have no creativity whatsoever. The creativity gene went from my mom to my sister but not to me. I had previously tried my hand at all sorts of crafts without finding my niche. Boy was I wrong! I was so hooked. I loved what I accomplished the first night I just couldn't believe I was actually being creative!
I currently reside in Winfield, Kansas and have been for over two years now. I have been married for 2 ½ years to my wonderful husband, Ryan, and I also have a 7 year old daughter named Carlee from a previous marriage. I am employed full time by Husky Liners as a Customer Service Representative and Administrative Assistant. I enjoy the hours, the people I work with and the products we promote. I couldn't’t imagine feeling this way about any other company.
When Carlee is visiting her dad, Ryan and I enjoy riding our Harley and cruising around in our 84 Corvette. When Carlee is home we do all the girlie things, like crafts, cooking and of course, playing Barbie. Believe it or not, I actually still have time to do my most beloved hobby of Scrapbooking!

My name is Shandra Hatfield. I grew up in Sand Springs, OK and have lived in Winfield, KS since 1996. I am married to Dave and we have two daughters, Christa, 10, and Ashley, 8.
I started scrapbooking when Christa was a year old and was hooked right away. The most important thing about scrapbooking for me is providing my children with life memories that they can cherish forever. My family is my inspiration and I love seeing life through my daughters eyes.
I am an optimist! I always see the good in my situations and believe that God has a great plan for all of us. As a matter of fact, it was at church one Sunday morning when I found a place to host our first Crop Camp. I saw a flyer for a local church camp and picked it up. I had no idea if their facilities were open to the public or was just for local churches. I made a phone call and the planning for our first Crop Camp began in the Spring of 2003. I have enjoyed hosting Crop Camp for the last 5 years and the friends that I have made from the experience are an added bonus in my life.

I started scrapbooking when my daughter, Rene’ was a newborn. It began with exposure from a friend and her home based scrapbook company, and soon grew into a huge addiction. Once I discovered all the wonderful products, paper and embellishments on the market I became known to my friends as the paper queen. I now have a great passion for scrapbooking and try to scrapbook whenever I can.
I work full time at our local hospital in the Rehab Services Department as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I have 4 children and 2 pets: Leah, Randy, Ryan and Rene’, one dog and one cat. I must admit they are my inspiration for most of my scrapbooking projects.
We live in Winfield, Kansas, where you can find the Walnut Valley National Flat-picking Championship, beautiful historical homes, several industrial companies, including Newell-Rubbermaid (where my husband Rusty works). When the weather allows we enjoy going to Little Sahara State Park in Waynoka, Oklahoma with our dune buggy and taking our boat to the lake in Winfield.
I began teaching scrapbooking classes several years ago and I must admit; I love being able to pass along information about one of the greatest passions in life. My teaching experience includes home based scrapbook companies as well as having the wonderful opportunity to teach in Andover, KS at Scrap*Funattic scrapbook store.
I truly believe, to scrapbook is to create something that can be enjoyed now and for generations to come. I have been involved in “Crop Camp”, since it started in 2003. I am amazed and thrilled at what a wonderful event this is and am so excited about being able to share this with others all over the country. Please feel free to roam around our website and take in the beauty of what we have to offer.
My first book, "The Paper Bag Book" by The Heartland Design Team from Pine Cone Press was published in the summer of 2005. I have also had other projects published by Pine Cone Press idea books, and Design Team experience with The Memory Safe on-line store.
